Australia's Infamous Mr. Cruel

In the late 1980's the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia were terrorized by a masked intruder dubbed Mr. Cruel by local newspapers. This man invaded the sanctity of family homes and made it so no one felt safe, even behind their own closed and locked doors. Over the course of 4 years, there were 4 victims that are firmly linked to Mr. Cruel, but there are at least a dozen more that may be attributed to him as well. After the attack in 1991, he has not been seen or heard from and seems to have disappeared just as quickly as he appeared. Is this boogeyman dead? In prison? Or still living among unknowing neighbors, friends and family? We may never know... But the Victoria Police Department has not lost hope, as they have a $1,000,000 reward set for anyone providing information leading to his identity and arrest.
