Austyn Weiner is a transplant to LA from the East Coast - she has been busy since she arrived a few years ago, and her most recent show was at Ibid Gallery.

 

I spoke with Austyn at the Listening Party I hosted at the LA gallery Chimento Contemporary and I discovered an artist who's raw, honest and vigorous approach to life unsurprisingly translates into her artwork, someone who is on a quest for pure freedom but enjoys a touch of 90s music along the way!
