You got the job? Now what! Getting there is half the battle! Navigating the work place as a believer can be daunting and discouraging but it doesn't need to be that way. The Bible has clearly stated our purpose that work and in this conversation Brittany and I recount biblical knowledge and our life experiences in the office that I hope help and encourage you!!!

Katherine and I have had some truly life-giving conversations about breaking free from legalism and stepping into the freedom that the cross offers. For so long, I lived as if I had to earn Christ’s approval—forgetting that the standard has already been met in Him. Katherine has been on a similar journey, learning to believe, deep down, that the Lord delightsin her—not because of what she does, but because of who she is in Christ.

Each time we talk about this, I walk away wishing I could bottle it up or hit record just to listen again and again. And really, what better reason to have a podcast? My hope is that this conversation brings freedom, conviction, and a fresh reminder of God’s grace. Katherine is wise, thoughtful, and has walked through this herself—she speaks from deep experience.

In this episode, we chat about the fear of having a high-risk pregnancy, the devastation of having a child in the NICU for such a long time, and how to love friends well through trauma. Funny story, Anabelle and I had planned to record a podcast together back in August but because of an anxious spiral, we can to push it back. But praise God because now she is back for her to share what the Lord has taught her through this extra anxiety- filled season!
