In the music business, there is a lot of attention put on the artists' ability to be authentic. I think that is what has created so many singer/songwriters in the recent years, which I LOVE but also I should point out that you don’t have to write all your own songs to be authentic.  It’s the yearning to be the most authentic version of yourself as an artist that most are (for lack of a better word) chasing.

And for some of us, there is a feeling of being stuck between being a truly full version of ourselves and worrying about not being accepted or fitting in.
