In the music business there is a lot attention put on the artist to be authentic. I think that is what has created so many singer/songwriters in recent years, but you don’t have to write all your own songs to be authentic.  It’s the yearning to be the most authentic version of yourself as an artist that most are chasing.

The feeling of being stuck between being a truly full version of ourselves and worrying about not being accepted or fitting is real!
