So glad to have gotten the chance to record an episode with my dear cousin Darya. I've witnessed her grow up throughout the years and I'm proud of the women she is and becoming.

We talked about so many things from growing up to culture, family dynamics, importance of opposite sex friendships, impact of chess, spirituality, and so on.

Both of us come off as outgoing, but interestingly in pretty different ways that almost seem opposite at times. She embraces more chaos and I like more peace; she's fueled by sharing while I prefer keeping more things private, etc. Actually, in this book that I’m reading right now, "Surrounded By Idiots" I’ve now discovered that I'm a yellow+green, while Darya is Red+Yellow, which makes sense; interesting book, definitely recommend.

Listening to it back, I really got to appreciate the time we spent during this conversation all over again. There are so many moments that I found myself laughing out loud while editing behind my computer. Darya joon you have a unique blunt humor that is unmatched. You challenged me to think about concepts that I hadn’t paid much attention to, which I'm grateful for.

Darya, you are a badass young woman, and despite your current ambiguities I'm sure that you'll navigate through it well. I will always be cheering you on.
