This week on the pod, Lauren and Haylie are joined by the incredible, Julia Hannafin, author of Cascade which is their debut novel. As you will see, Julia is absolutely brilliant and there are tears, and laughs, and incredible discussions about grief, gender, and of course, sharks and orcas — and a whole lot of delight!

CORRECTION: Julia wrote the second episode of season three of the L Word: Generation Q which Lauren incorrectly referenced as the “wedding episode”. It is in fact the proposal episode but it is still and forever will be Lauren’s favorite episode which she considers to be the epitome of reciprocity and  true love-even if it took years to get there.
