On today's podcast I am talking with author Julia Davis about her journey as a writer, author and children's book lover. She has recently bought and expanded a small, independent bookstore in downtown Powder Springs, Georgia. She wears many hats and it was so great to talk with her about her growth as writer, how she found her niche and what drove her to becoming the owner of her bookstore. She was and still is a dreamer, making her dreams come true. We talk about diversity and how to get children back into reading and how reading impacts us all even as adults. Sometimes all we need is a good book that we can feel connected with to help change our lives.
