God has established three institutions to nurture human life to provide meaning, power, purpose and structure. Pastor Aaron through this podcast draws some Biblical perspective on how the "Home", "Government" and "Church" are authoritative figures in our life. He goes on to explain that there is no such thing as life without authority by drawing a comparison between life and athletics. Athletes get to choose the games, but they play by the rules set but the authoritative committee, because rules govern behaviour. And when you break the rules you may not be allowed to even finish the game. The same goes for life. And the key to successful living is to recognise the authority God has placed in your life and to not resist it. Resisting authority is an open rebellion against God.
