**Note we are not diagnosing anyone, we are just noting characters who, through our own neurodivergent lenses, seem to us to be on the spectrum.**As long as there has been media there have been autistic characters, we just didn't label them. They were the outsiders - the Spocks and Sherlock Holmeses. We both identify so much with the struggles these characters encounter as they try to make sense of the neurotypical world.
