Today we gonna talk about a common disease that I'm sure you know someone who has it or at least u heard about it , it’s “autism” , autism spectrum disorded or ASD .

Some children seem to live in a world all their own .

They appear distant and closed-in, avoiding eye contact and shying away from their parent’s hugs .

They may exhibit unusual behaviors, like flapping their arms or obsessively lining up their toys .

Autism Is a neurodevemental disorder that influence the communication abilities .

The autistic person have areas of strong interest and sometimes have repetitive behaviours and sensory sensitivity.

Autism is sometimes associated with strengths in the areas of visual memory, music, art, math and science .

Changes in brain development associated with autism begin during the prenatal period, these changes are associated with differences in genes,

Because of that each person with ASD is unique and varies significantly from person to person .

It is possible to diagnose ASD when a child is 18-24 months of age .

Early behavioural interventions helps children with autism learn to communicate and socially interact and has a significant impact on long term outcome .

Support for learning social and communication skills can be helpful too .
