As I continue to give my two cents on what's going on with autism and the media by reading "Understanding Autism," I read "Reluctant Keepers," by Elizabeth Choi. Unlike the other articles, this one made me feel very sad and and angry.   Why?  People continue to paint all autistics as violent monsters who abuse their family members and the people around them.  That said, they never bother to look at the bigger picture or understand what they are doing that creates those behaviors.
