The body functions on it's own sometimes!  Can you imagine needing to tell your heart to beat and your lungs to breath?  How does the autonomic nervous system work?  What is the difference between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems?  What are their neurotransmitters?  Get a basic understanding of these mechanism.
