~Originally published May 17, 2015~ A voice mail left for Chubs by Billy A (yes, that Billy A)  spawns a podcast.  Chubs explains why not only all authority rests with the Home Groups, but why the answer to the problems we face as a Fellowship can only be found at the Home Group level.  

A service structure with unchecked power will not be fixed by creating other structures with the same inherent problems - It can only be fixed by focusing on the Group; by Groups directing all services and being responsible for carrying that message.  Only when service bodies are created by Groups who are invested in the full responsibility of carrying the message in their local communities will we have services that do not self-create, that do not steal money from the Groups via sale of the Group literature, and that are responsible to the Groups rather than depending on a "diverse mix of revenue streams" which remove the need of direct Fellowship support or any accountability.

We will only be free of the tyranny of effective leadership prevalent at the World Level when we truly believe Group Service is the most important and only indispensable level of service. In other words: when we stop paying an office to do our service work for us.
