Episode 046 – Autumn Wright – is a college graduate with a degree in History and minors in Spanish and Education. After graduation she worked in her alma mater’s IT department providing support and training for faculty, staff and visitors. On her next job she learned MySQL and how to be a network administrator. From there she transitioned into being a web developer. Today Autumn is a Senior Software Engineer at CallRail in Atlanta. She works with Angular and Ruby on Rails.

Autumn talks about the things that happened that opened the door for her to transition into tech. She was burned out with school and decided to take a year off and work. It was that work that started her on the path into tech.
