This summer, residents of the lower Yukon River had to contend with extremely low numbers of salmon swimming up the river. The Association of Village Council Presidents created a Yukon fisheries survey to document the impact of the fisheries disaster on the region. Here this morning to talk with KYUK’s Olivia Ebertz about that survey are two people from AVCP: John McIntyre, the director of the Land and Cultural Resources Division, and Natural Resources Director Jennifer Hooper.
