"I am 43 and for almost half of my life (since 2005) I have been collecting vinyl records with a tenacity worthy of a better use. Sometimes I even get to play them in some public spaces.

I think this picture suits the mix nicely. It is my 'avenue' on Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg, Russia. The photo was taken at 5 o'clock in the morning... after the club vibes ;)

This mix for Avenue Red was recorded at home using a classic set-up: an Allen & Heath Xone:92 and 2x Technics 1210's. There was no pre-selection of records involved - the session was completely spontaneous, so I can't provide the tracklist. Thanks to Alec for posting!" Tim Ohta, April 2025
