Paul ends his comprehensive presentation of the Gospel (Romans 1-11) with an extended call to worship (Romans 12-15). During the month of January we are preaching that call to worship both to hear it and to answer it. We began with the opening verses to set the general direction as to the “what” and the “how” of Christian worship. We are now breaking those general directions down into specific applications. Today’s text will be teach our most extended section but it all deals with one central application: dealing with disputable matters in the family of faith.
