MAY LIFE GREET YOU WITH A KISS

My darling, you – wherever you are,whoever you are,I hope todaylife greets youwith a kiss.

I hope you noticehow the wind blowsto caress your skin,how the leaves on the treessway in excitement, overjoyed to see you.And I hope you hearhow the sun whispersthat a rainbowholds a thousand shades of hope.

My darling dear,they say, “Live in the moment,”“Choose to see the good.”But I know – we, in our humanness, are eternally sailingbetween past, present, and future,our emotions rising and fallinglike unpredictable waveson life’s ocean.Too often, we miss the chanceto bathe in the essence ofthe eternal moment.

So today, I don’t want to make it your workto choose what you see.I hope life itselfkisses you so audaciously, so dashingly, with its wonderthat nothing is required of you.

May you be kissed awaketo the beauty of yourself.And perhaps, tomorrow,you’ll open yourself to yet another kiss,one that awakens you further to the beauty of the world. And the day after that, you may be the oneto send a kiss outto beautify this world.
