Finding Meaning

Awakening Your Inner Superhero

Listen Later

This episode's message will help our audience transform their relationship to power so that they can stop selling out on their personal power and free themselves from self-sabotaging behaviors. It will help them heal toxic relationship patterns and negotiate power struggles more effectively.

The conversation about power—who has it, who’s been denied it, and who dares to defy established power structures—is critically important for our turbulent, chaotic, and uncertain times.  We have a particular message about women's empowerment, and Christian's book includes a chapter on what it means to be a man in the 21st century, which I think our audience will also find of interest.

It's a unique conversation of the ego-mind, how it works, and how we break free from its self-imposed prison of limitation will also be illuminating and supportive to your audience.

Christian connects his personal transformation story to the empowerment journey and assists our audience to transcend fear and overcome obstacles. He is an immigrant from Cuba who came to the U.S. at age 10 without speaking a word of English, and, as a painfully shy teenager whose adolescence was one long depression, an unlikely person to be writing about heroism and personal power. Christian shares a personal story about how he actually sabotaged his GPA in high school (all A's except for one B) to avoid having to give the valedictory speech! He is an internationally recognized teacher and speaker, including on the TEDx stage.  No matter the circumstances of Christian's life—if a relationship works out or it doesn't; a project succeeds or "fails"—he no longer questions his self-worth.
