This time on Awakester: Jared and Jordan dive headfirst into the electronic and synthetic environments constructed by Big Red Machine. This album is the debut of the colaboration between about 40 different people, but most notably Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner. We talk about how the band fights to find its identity, how some of the songs are some if the most well constructed and clever we've hear, and how the last track just shouldn't have been recorded.
