Alan put on his first pair of boxing gloves when he was 8 years old and beat the guy who was bullying him. He's a pro-active kind of guy! He later became an amateur, then a professional boxer. Today he is the North American Coordinator of the World Boxing Foundation and an International Boxing Judge. Alan founded No Teen Riders, Inc., a nonprofit company, to create awareness of the dangers to riders in cars with inexperienced drivers. He has been nominated for a "Rising in Community Excellence (RICE) Award" in Atlanta, GA.
