Linda has been working for the past two years, establishing a histology laboratory at the Makerere University Veterinary School in Uganda. By improving the skills of the local histologists, Linda hopes to reduce the turnaround time for wildlife specimens, to help the organization she works with, Gorilla Doctors, reach their goal of better wildlife health and disease surveillance.
