ABM explores the abortion vs. adoption debate as well as suggests that the word “orphan” may be overused in adoption circles. Mimi tackles diversity in movies and TV through the lens of Tim Burton’s Miss Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Netflix’s Luke Cage. She questions whether there is such a thing as too much, too little or just right? The ladies round out their topic discussion by providing some Add Water guidance on avoiding cultural appropriation in Halloween costumes.
