“Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy

which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the

city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord!” Luke 2:10 NKJV

2-LEVELS OF SURRENDER

1: The partially surrendered life

“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?” Luke 6:46

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways acknowledge Him,

and He will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

App: What is God calling you to surrender?

2: The fully surrendered life:

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord.

So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:8

Acknowledge: to know Him intimately, embracing His right, authority and status over your life

“God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.” 1John 1:5a

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,

but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7:21-23
