You will walk away from this episode feeling alive and reconnected to your truth! Randall Simpson from ITSA Life discusses the value and and power of intuition, daily rituals that support our connection to beauty, the importance of creating beauty in the world around you, how parents can support the development of self-inquiry and intuition, and feeling in love with the life you live. Randall shares ways to connect, or reconnect, to your true essence and being, reminding us that it has been there all along, we just need to slow down, pause and listen.
"I have been fortunate enough to connect and share all over the world since 2010 in the realms of yoga, bodywork and healing. I specialize in spiritual understanding of mensuration, womb healing, fertility, conception and conscious relationship & I am about to embark on my Doula training with IBU Robin Lim, CNN hero of the year in 2011 for Gentle Birthing & changing Birthing throughout the Globe, she is an amazing influencer of mine at present. Expanding my natural intuitive wisdom of our lifes birthing process and unified family raising is the clear next step in the unfolding of my souls growth and planet offering.
I began working on international Yoga Teacher Trainings since 2011 and have run my own international 250hr Teacher trainings with 3 levels of course degrees since 2014. I have educated and advocated in universities within California to do with energy psychology and its moving presence through our mind and body. I have worked immensely with children and young people through our ITSA Life offerings, amongst having had the pleasure of providing health and therapy within Mental health hospitals within Western Australia. We continue to run these offerings out of our ITSA life space here in Bali.
HELP has been a key word embedded in my soul as an inspired love action since forever, with intention to, do all I can for the planet in anyway shape or form to Heal. Enable. Love. Prosper. We all have a unique key word that is within us and awaiting to be communicated.
In realizing and valuing the life I was given, choosing not to waste time in attending to anything that doesn't serve its treasuring worth has been the priority. What’s so amazing is by choosing it, I light up, my soul dances and my heart sings beyond measure. It is when I am connected with this, the life I experience each moment is bliss. As someone who connected to dance and movement from a young age, I really understand life as the dance moving through us and our highest calling is expressing this. By rooting through our presence, returning to our being and embodying conscious essence, we will allow this dance of life to gracefully awaken our planet Earth. I have a saying When She moves, we move… just like that. She representing Love (not a male or female) but rather the togetherness of yin and yang which creates conscious relationship “for without he, she can not exist and without she, he can not be” – Randall Simpson

October 15 is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day,
I am 1 in 4.
I am beyond grateful to share with you our latest episode which features Lindsay Gibson. She shares her courageous journey through stillness and learning how to be with herself, her past trauma, and find her source of joy. Lindsay became numb and lived in denial after a traumatic experience at 16 years old. She shares how she lived in fear, in flight, and often experienced flashbacks, nightmares, and disassociated. When she became a mother for the first time, she poured herself into motherhood, continuing to live in the denial of the traumatic experience. After the stillbirth of her son, Joseph, grief overwhelmed her to the point where she could no longer deny being present with her emotions and allowing herself to fully feel her love, and her loss. Trauma sensitive yoga became a regular practice and supported her journey back to joy.
Lindsay is an Author, Motivational Speaker, Trauma/Fertility Yoga Instructor and Fertility/Birth Psychology Specialist; helping to bring light back into people that promotes inner healing. She is the creator of her "Joyful Conception" coaching/yoga series for mamas who are trying to conceive, specializing in 'rainbow' pregnancies. This class is done via phone or live for Connecticut residents. She spends most of her time taking care of her two “blondie” daughters and all that motherhood entails. She’s also a mother to her angel son above, whose love shines through her every day. Her greatest passion is writing to inspire through my heart and through Spirit. She is currently working on her first book, an inspirational memoir, "Just Be: How Her Stillborn Son Taught Me to Surrender." Due to release March 2018.

September is International Yoga Awareness Month, which means each episode this month will feature different practices and practitioners of yoga to share with you how and what yoga is a transformative self care practice.
So much beautiful wisdom comes from Leanne Woehlke who is the Chief Officer of Possibility at Epic Yoga, a Baptiste power-yoga studio. Leanne shares with us her journey to getting on her mat and beginning her yoga practice, the fear of starting a new practice and obstacles that can get in the way, walking through being a caregiver to her husband who had cancer while being a new mother, being okay with not being the person for everyone, her beautiful practices of joy and self-care, and enjoying life by inviting quality of life and always being up to something more and bigger in life.
Leanne Woehlke… my story.
I have been on a quest for health and wellness for as long as I can remember. In 1998, I left a stressful job corporate job and travelled to India in search of answers and a deeper meaning in life. When I got there, I realized I could have found what I was looking for right at home. The problem was, my mind just wasn’t still enough, and I wasn’t listening, or asking the right questions.
My yoga mat has been a path to the center of truth. It has been my vehicle for self discovery for over 22 years.
The Back Story…
I have a Master’s Degree in Experimental Psychology, which opened the door to a career in Drug Development. I dismissed the freedom and flow my soul craved in exchange for a corporate consulting job and the promise of “security.” I had a “good” job and made “good” (six figure) money, but I was, miserable! Many days I woke up nauseous and dreading going to work.
After the birth of my daughter, I hung up my corporate suit to pursue a life of balance, focused on the people and things I loved. Ah, finally, a life on my terms! This sounded like pure paradise, until eleven days later, my husband, my rock, my BFF, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. My research skills were put to the test as I scoured the internet for alternative treatments and reviewed traditional protocols. Within weeks of being “cured” he was in the middle of a major relapse. The cancer was back, and with a vengeance.
Two rounds of high dose chemo, back to back stem cell transplants, lots of supplements and alternative healers, later my husband was cancer free. It was a long, crazy, twisty road, with many miracles sprinkled along the route. He remains cancer free to this day. During this time my practice kept me grounded in the present moment. This experience only deepened my desire to learn more about health and wellness, from both the physical and the psychological aspects.
In 2011, I opened EPIC YOGA, with the intention to help others uncover their own version of an inspired life. I wanted to share hope and inspiration in an attempt to help others find more peace, health and balance in their lives, both on and off their yoga mat.
I am a 500 Hr Certified Baptiste Yoga Instructor and Affiliate Studio Owner. I have completed a Health Coach Certification program and am a Sanoviv Health Advisor. I am also a Certified Fire Walk Instructor.
Most days you can find me at EPIC, where I teach classes, lead retreats and run Yoga Teacher Training programs. If I’m not there, I am likely at a Middle School Volleyball game, or on the lake, where I recently completed sailing lessons.
If you are what you should be, you’ll set the world on FIRE!

September is International Yoga Awareness Month, which means each episode this month will feature different practices and practitioners of yoga to share with you how and what yoga is a transformative self care practice.
With lots of joy and laughter, join Emmy Singer from Inner Light Yoga to hear about the practice of music based vinyasa. Emmy shares her experience of music being a source of connection, healing, and release. She shares some of her favorite artists and music to flow to, how to allow yourself to let go and be free on your mat, and begin to blossom and have fun in yoga. She discusses finding this practice through a moment of letting her wall down after a season where she felt lonely and lost. Emmy shares her passion for the practices of cathartic movement and giving yourself the permission to get messy and lost in the process of exploring your body and releasing what no longer serves you, and find all types of beautiful shapes and ways to create movement in your body to build greater self-love and appreciation for your body and self.
Emmy Singer is the founder & f-word enthusiast of Inner Light Yoga who believes in positive energy, the collective of people, genuine vibes and the power of puppies. She met yoga in 2008 and it was nearly love at first flow. With a heartbeat for storytelling and pulse for music, she moved to Nashville in 2011 to pursue her music industry dreams. Emmy learned to balance her role running digital for a roster of country artists by maintaining her life-giving yoga practice. Taking her passion one pose further, Emmy trained to be a certified yoga instructor and following her open-heart and renewed spirit transitioned from music to teaching yoga full-time. After Emmy married Lee, a skilled entrepreneur with a love for a good back-beat flow class, in 2015, the newlyweds’ dream of opening a fitness business together took them to California. While out West, Emmy’s love of music and yoga collided when she came across a new style of music-based vinyasa and dove head first into training specifically for this movement focused practice. They both were inspired by the West Coast, but Nashville was calling their hearts home. Filled with gratitude for the open arms of Nashville and passion for bringing music-based yoga to this beautiful community, the Singers moved back to Music City to open Inner Light Yoga.

Michelle DAvella is the founder of Pushing Beauty. Michelle is a breathwork coach and facilitator of The Desire Map. In this episode, Michelle discusses living in the world as someone who feels deeply, trying to use her mind to think through or push past her emotions, until she ultimately stopped hiding from her feelings- stepping out of shame and into her own power. She shares her recent heartbreak and how she has used self-care practices to fall in love with herself and live a life transformed valuing both her mind, her heart, and her intuition.
Edited from Michelle's website:
YOU CAN ONLY HIDE FOR SO LONGPieces started to fall around me. I was flailing in my career. Money wasn't flowing. I was picking fights with my boyfriend. I didn't like my living situation. Deep inside I felt this horrible feeling like I wasn't living the life I was here to live.
Looking back I can see a very clear path at that time in my life. Every aspect of my life was unfolding and pointing me onto that path. I began to pick up on it and started to move forward, and I met my greatest teacher: my own breath. I was lead to begin a Breathwork practice and since that day my life has never been the same.
At the time I remember thinking, "How the hell is breathing going to change my life?" Oh, but it did. It dramatically did. This breathing technique was not about relaxation. It was about healing. It was about opening my heart. It was about discovering myself. And that's what I did.
WHO I AM NOWWriting about my past feels like another lifetime. And it kind of is. I'm now a Breathwork teacher, mentor, writer, and Desire Map facilitator. Every aspect of my life has transformed. But most importantly, now I love every ounce of me.
I can be seen by others without shrinking myself down. I don’t worry about what other people think about me. I don't worry about trying to do it all right because there is no such thing as a right way. I trust myself to make the choices that are best for my life, and I don’t spend my energy questioning myself afterward. I’ve developed a healthy balance between using my mind and my heart.
Don't let this lead you to believe that my life is pain-free. I went through a terrible heartbreak this year, but my growth has allowed me to learn tremendously from it. I worked on keeping my heart open. I took the time to heal, as long as it needed. I paid close attention to the wounds the pain was pointing to. I took deep care of myself, like I work to do every day.
I DON'T THINK IT'S IMPORTANT TO LOOK DEEPLY INWARD, I THINK IT'S NECESSARY.It's necessary if you want to relieve your anxiety, if you want to let go of your pain, if you want to accept yourself, if you want to feel any bit better than you do right now. Turning inward and walking straight through the pain you're hiding from is the only path to true happiness.
This path of looking inward is challenging because of the deep feelings we’ve suppressed and need to process. It’s challenging because the ego is hella strong and will do anything it can to dupe us into taking the easy route.
If you’re reading this and you’re struggling in the depths of darkness or you know you’re not living the life that is meant for you take a look at my offerings. This life is not an easy path, but I promise you that if you show up to do the work and if you face it all wholeheartedly, what is on the other side is so worth it.
