We caught up with him at the APAP Association of Presenters of Arts Performers Conference in NYC, He tells us about his CD All Rise and Elgy for Fats  Waller, his appointment as artistic director at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC and penning the musical score for the movie “Selma” about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
