Our service members are handed camaraderie as soon as they sign into their units, while our biggest problem with camaraderie can be finding it. With the absences of our service member, there is a lot of exhaustion, scheduling, and overcommitting ourselves to social events that can still leave us with an empty, genuinely incompatible village. Finding your tribe in addition to “hanging on” as a parent while your service member is gone can take a lot out of us! Isn’t there a more convenient way?
