AWTR Show #842: Pelocity: Assessments for Mapping your Career

Listen Later

Retiring from the military can be a scary time. Not just for the service members themselves, but also for the spouses. Transitioning out of the military comes with its challenges. That’s where Pelocity comes in.
Pelocity is a career guidance platform dedicated to helping active-duty and transitioning military families discover not only their passion, but their best fit career. There’s also a job board where you can search for different jobs, even using an MOS code. And, Pelocity is free to military members enrolled through the USO or Onward 2 Opportunity.
Two years ago, there was a guy who was transitioning out of the military after 12 years of service. He came to Pelocity and took the assessment where a job came up that he had never thought about before. He actually ended up not only getting that job, but two years later, he’s been promoted and still loves his job.
Stephen Pollan strives every day to make Assessment Technologies Group (ATG) the best in the business of organizational consulting and always perseveres through difficulties until the job is done right. Stephen is a well-respected businessman and devotes a great deal of his time to improving the Jacksonville community as a member of many local boards and councils.
If you want to check out more about Pelocity, you can check it out here, or follow them on social media via Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
