A Year from Now will be back in the spring of 2023 (hopefully) in the mean time, here's a special piece I, matthew schneeman lead producer of AYFN, made during a difficult winter last year.

The night before Thanksgiving in 2021 I broke my right elbow. A car was running a red light and I braked, on my bike, and flipped over the handle bars.

For the month and a half that I had a cast, which put my right hand out of commission, I wrote a song a day to see how different my composition would be if I wrote with my non-dominant hand. I thought I'd notice myself writing strange and different songs, but turns out, song writing, and thought itself, had always been strange and eerie. This is a dairy of that experiment.
