Health and Human Services Director Alex Azar and Dr Stephen Hahn, FDA Commissioner, both presented an update on what is described as promising treatment of COVID 19 patients with a 35% reduction in fatality rates when former patients who have recovered from COVID 19 donate blood plasma which is used in therapy for serious COVID 19 patients.
