Il enseigne les sciences politiques, l’anthropologie, les relations internationales et le développement international à l'université McGill et à l'UQAM au Canada. Ancien coordonnateur du réseau québécois contre l'apartheid. Fondateur et membre du GRILA (le groupe de recherche et d'initiative pour la libération de l'Afrique) dans  lequel il coordonne, avec un collectif de 21 avocat-e-s, des personnalités, et divers organismes, la première campagne internationale africaine contre l'impunité- l'affaire du Président Thomas Sankara. Co-Fondateur et co-coordinateur du mouvement des assises de la gauche au Sénégal. Président de la fondation Aubin et du Centre de recherche progressiste Ryerson. Auteur de  plusieurs écrits spécialisés, dont la critique annotée des 200 points du NEPAD.

The fifth episode of the Project Umoja Podcast is with Professor Aziz Fall! Professor Aziz Fall is an internationalist and pan-Africanist political scientist of Senegalese and Egyptian origin. He teaches political science, anthropology, international relations and international development at McGill University and UQAM in Canada. Former coordinator of the Quebec network against apartheid. Founder and member of GRILA (the research and initiative group for the liberation of Africa) in which he coordinates, with a collective of 21 lawyers, personalities, and various organizations, the first African international campaign against impunity - the case of President Thomas Sankara. Co-founder and co-coordinator of the movement of the "assises de la gauche" in Senegal. President of the Aubin Foundation and the Ryerson Progressive Research Center. Author of several specialized writings, including the annotated critique of the 200 points of NEPAD.
