One of my favorite panels at this year's KCON was being able to see and meet the Balming Tiger crew: Sogumm, Omega Sapien, and Sanyawn. They talked about broadening people's understanding of what "K-pop" is. Just like in any culture, there are multiple perspectives and experiences that define identities within said culture. I love the fact that these guys challenge what "K-Pop" is and could be. The whole reason I started KME was to expose people to all the great artists Korea has to offer.
