It was a very active Sunday across Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee. Storm Prediction Center said they had eighteen tornado reports. The biggest tornado was a long track, high intensity twister that went through north of Dallas Texas. The EF-3 tornado was on the ground just over a half hour. Despite the severity of the storms, the NBC affiliate in Dallas waited six minutes to break into coverage. The Dallas Cowboys were playing the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
