The tropics were going to be quiet for a couple days, but in the short time frame in which we last spoke, two storms formed, Olga in the Gulf of Mexico and Pablo, over the eastern Atlantic. Olga was a non factor and Pablo is forecast to weaken into a tropical storm. Back in Oklahoma, Bonnie attended the National Weather Center's Weather Festival and in Oregon, Bobby attended the Oregon AMS' 27th Annual Winter Weather Forecast Conference.
