Baby Led Sleep vs. Sleep training, common sleep interrupters, and co-sleeping. There is more to getting a baby to sleep than just putting the baby down and letting them cry it out. In this episode we discuss children's big emotions, parenting, co-sleeping and what about all this triggers us. Baby Led Sleep protects the relationship and supports the child. Parenting is like constantly missing the turn and the GPS is repeating “recalculating”, Parenting is constant “recalculating". What works for one child does for the other and our children will always give us exactly what we (as humans) need to learn. Our kids will push us to our limits and we grow together every time. Every child is unique and every child needs something different from us.

What doctors do and say matters. Postpartum is hard. A new mother is trying to figure out her new role. She may have finished high school, college and maybe even has a master or two, but few women have been taught to mother. She is learning, day by day. She is trying her best, yet in one fell swoop, one word, one comment you can destroy her. You can make her feel like a failure. You can end her breastfeeding journey before it has even begun.
