Comparing the performance of different countries’ health-care systems provides an opportunity for policy makers and the general public to determine how well Canada’s health-care system is performing relative to its international peers. The Fraser Institute is out with a report that looks at just that called: Comparing Performance of Universal Health Care Countries, 2020.  The Associate Director of Health Policy Studies with the Fraser Institute Bacchus Barua joins Newsday to discuss the report.
