Hi, and welcome back to Woman of Valor. In this episode I break down part of why I have been on a hiatus with recording and the dangers of "taunting" God with our false humility and pretense of faith.

We cannot test nor tease our God into showing up on our behalf by being lazy and insolent servants. Jesus rebukes the lazy servant who buried his talent in the field (Matthew 25:14-46). Let us instead be diligent, therefore, and give the Father our good efforts and the first fruits of our labor! Let us not test the Lord our God or taunt Him with our impertinence.

He is faithful to lead us, but we must be diligent to run and give God our all, faithfully walking after Him. We cannot expect the Lord to drag us out of bed and make us partner with His will! Serving the Lord, being a co-laborer with Christ, entails hard work and discipline. He might be with us at the start to give us a running head-start, but we must be adjusting our sails to catch His winds, not expecting Him to man the entire ship on top of everything else.

Do not test the Lord your God. Do not be lazy or stew in false humility, as I was led to do, claiming that you are just "giving God glory" and letting it be "all of Him and none of me." He doesn't want none of you -- He wants all of you!
