BC is in a state of emergency because of wildfires.  Rancher Ed Monical defied an evacuation order and stayed to protect his ranch and his neighbor’s property.  This DIY firefighting proved to be effective in his case but it is dangerous, and we’re sure to see more of it as Dr. Wildfire Mike Flannigan says we are due for a long hot summer.
