I have had the privilege of working with Alexandra as a coachee and this app is like having a coach with you right there in a meeting or a situation when you are thinking of the right way to approach a subject. The Back Pocket coach is well organized in the four categories and the deal maker here is how the scenarios are organized based on very common everyday situations and issues. This is very handy in a meeting that you could just whip it up on your laptop and "chime-in" with your brilliant idea or response. The good thing is that over time with practice, this will be second nature and hence the awesome end result of having the Back Pocket Coach with you at the times when you needed it.

The communication strategies in this book are easy to follow but golden. The authors, both seasoned business coaches, have clearly selected skills that could make a difference in cultivating positive relationships and a positive culture in the workplace. But I also find the skills helpful outside of work. I have already used a couple of them (âLet me take some time to consider thisâ and âMay I give you some feedback?â) with my teenage daughter. I like the way the strategies are outlined according to particular situational challenges as well outlined more traditionally. This is the kind of resource I plan on returning to again and again. Hooray for Back Pocket Coach!
