If there is anything that marketing tactics tend to do it’s this: confuse consumers. Using the name of an already existing thing but making it different from that existing thing is a prime example. Imagine selling a radish, but instead of calling the radish just that, you call it carrot instead. How confusing is that?! Similarly, there ere are some confusing elements in the coffee world that have perhaps been marketed to us in ways that are not fully accurate.
