9/15/2019 - Week 1 of Sermon Series "Back to Basics"
The Bible is a book that Christians claim to read and revere. We call it "holy", we make references to it, we count on it to have answers. But, in reality, the Bible is more complicated than a simple instruction manual or rule book. The Bible is a guide given to us so that we can come to discover the beauty of grace, the necessity of faith, and the importance of everyday actions. We explore these ideas as we also dig into Paul's words in 2 Timothy 3:14-17: 'In other words, “All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.”'
