I am fortunate to be a big sister to a heck of a young man, who is wise beyond his years. And it’s not just sisterly love here – all of my friends who have had the privilege to meet him think he is nearing his twenties. But nope! He’s a just my 13-year old “little bro” going into his first year of high school.
Did you just feel some dread mixed with excitement? High school…first day of Freshman year. Geez!
I am commemorating this important day in Alex’s history (9/5/18) with this episode as we spent chatting about his hopes, dreams and most importantly – fears. I think that even now, years after high school, you will find that his fears are quite similar to yours.
