God's first intention with man was to bless him. His

intention with Abraham was to bless "all peoples through you." His

intention with Christ was, "He redeemed us in order that the blessing

given Abraham might come to the Gentiles by faith." The blessing given

mankind in Genesis 1:28 can be broken into three parts: Ability,

Authority, Estate. Over the next three weeks we will see how to get

these working in your life. There are three gears in the blessing.

Here's the problem... if one gear isn't working the other two won't

matter, and as such famine, lack, work and thorns and

thistles.
