HEBREWS 7:7 ”And without all contradiction, the less is blessed of the better.”
The occupants of the Garden of Eden are Adam and Eve. An additional one (an outlaw) banished from Heaven and thrust upon the earth is also present. This outlaw is a spiritual being. The impact of his fall upon the earth caused a catastrophic event that the world has never seen. Lucifer (Light-bearer) was cast with such velocity from performing his priestly duties that he causes the earth to go into a deformed state. Creation vs. Evolution is an important topic because of its impact on our educational system.
The further man gets away from the land the more foolish tenets are adopted. When your sustenance is dependent on nature and whether you eat or not depends on what you grow you tend to be more prayerful and dependent upon God. With industry developed in the 19th Century and electricity came with lights, people tended to become more independent, and their beliefs widened accepting theories such as evolution.
Christians should never ascribe to the evolution (off base) of mankind from another species as a sound basis to support the origin of man. We believe in the Bible and the advent of Creation as the genesis of man’s origin. But even within this framework, there are different ideologies. The Gap Theory: The time elapsed between Genesis 1:1 -1:2 is accepted because it could account for the age of the earth. Also accepting a 24-hour day in God's creation of the plant marine and animal kingdoms respectively.
A COMMON MISTAKE What I see many people do is equate the history of mankind with the history of the physical earth. The Jewish calendar dates that Human History began 5782 years ago (as of 2022). This coincides with the genealogy of Jesus as seen in the book of Luke and the ages of his earthly ancestors as listed in Genesis.
THE AGE OF INNOCENCE It is possible that millions of years elapsed between the fall of Lucifer from the Heavens and when life began for Adam. Job: God asked Satan "where have you been?"(of course, this was a rhetorical question). There is no truer statement than Misery loves company. So, when the man arrived on the scene it gave a moment of satisfaction to the Father of Lies. A window of opportunity came after God created man for Satan to establish a kingdom. The seat of this kingdom would be aimed at man’s heart. The age of Innocence was a window for Satan. When any time something is pure Satan seeks to corrupt by infiltrating and usurping authority to exploit the person place or thing.
GOOD VS. EVIL: A personal choice Evil seems to surround us but you don’t have to participate. You can’t stop the birds from flying but you can prevent them from building a nest upon your hair. God’s name was first I AM, then progressively it became I AM Jealous.
