Backfilling. It’s sort of an active form of ignorance. You may have to see the backfilling before the again doesn’t keep happening. Something shows up and we name it immediately. We don’t notice the subtle differentiation between what is appearing and naming it. This is the difference between awareness and intellect. You can’t separate them because they’re not two different things. They’re the same thing acting in the service of different situations. Awareness has no boss, but the ego-mind may think it does.
