Most people don’t know what backflow devices are I was in a continuing education last night. Backflow is what prevents the device that prevents the city’s water main from being contaminated. Back flows are required on an annual basis to be re-certified. So in a large building where I’m working in Hallandale Beach, they failed their backflow inspection three times, either the backflow, which is a device to large device expensive, it needs to be replaced or it needs to be recalibrated or repaired. And someone who has a license needs to certify that backflow why is that part of the public health, safety and welfare because that is keeping potable water from getting contaminated. There needs to be a backflow device there before the water goes into the building. So the potable water from the city cannot get contaminated.
