A Judge is A decider of the law his job isnt to be ambiguous or an influencer over a group's decision. The jury panel in my estimation should not be made up of people from the same community where the trial is being held neither should the judge. far too many times in present day trials the jurors come back with a less than expected outcome. the system needs to be overalled !
