Next day, the King went to visit his children,

작은 소녀 외에는 아무도 없음을 알게되었습니다.

but found no one but the little girl.

네 형제들은 어디로 간거니? 왕이 물었습니다.

“Where are your brothers?” asked the King.

아아, 사랑하는 아빠 그녀가 대답하길

“Alas, dear Father,” she answered,

그들이 사라져 버렸어요. 저를 혼자 남겨두고요!

“they have gone away and left me alone!”

그리고 그녀는 그에게 말했습니다.

and she told him that

그녀가 그녀의 작은 창문으로 부터 본것을

she had seen from her little window,

그녀의 형제들이 숲 너머로 어떻게 날아가 버렸는지를요

how her brothers had flown away over the forest

백조의 형상을 했었지요.

in the shape of Swans.

그리고 그녀는 그에게 깃털들을 보여주었습니다.

And she showed him the feathers,

그것들은 정원에 떨어져있었습니다.

which they had let fall in the courtyard,

그래서 그녀가 가져온 것이었죠.

and which she had picked up.
