The huntsmen, however, did not let themselves be turned aside by that,

대신 나무에 올라가 아가씨를 끌어내렸고,

but climbed the tree and fetched the maiden down

그녀를 왕 앞에 데리고 갔습니다.

and led her before the King.

왕이 물었습니다.

The King asked,

당신은 누구시죠? 나무 위에서 무엇을 하고 있었던 것인가요?

“Who are you? What are you doing on the tree?”

그러나 그녀는 대답하지 않았습니다.

But she did not answer.

그는 그가 알고있는 모든 언어로 질문을 던졌습니다.

He put the question in every language that he knew,

하지만 그녀는 물고기처럼 침묵을 유지할 뿐이었습니다.

but she remained as mute as a fish.
